It’s a long drive home so for my safety I went to the front desk to extend my stay another night. It’s been snowing and raining with freezing temps all day. The few employees who are at work are in complete disarray, there is no one helping these people or giving them any direction, clearly the management is resigned to let things fall apart. The resort is charging full price for nights while they have no restaurant, bars, stores or entertainment venues fully open.
To be clear I understand in an ice storm some people can’t get to work, but a resort as large as Choctaw should have plans in place for weather emergencies. A poorly managed nightmare with zero contingency planning, taking advantage of people in a weather emergency.
